Are you making plans for a sweet summer? Will you be heading to Hersheypark?
Believe it or not, up until about 2 weeks ago, I had nothing planned for summer. Yes, nothing. I had ideas of where I wanted to go. I had my boys’ summer bucket lists. But a very packed spring schedule resulted in my having nothing penned in yet on our summer calendar. When the school days started counting down, I was in a bit of a crazy panic reviewing our calendar of events and the great articles on our site, to line up some fun summer plans.
Then, the invitation came in from Aquafina to visit Hersheypark this summer! I can’t even tell you how excited I was. I was overjoyed! Hersheypark is one destination my kids and even my sometimes reluctant-to-travel husband have been asking to visit. While we’ve visited Hersheypark for many Christmases, we personally haven’t been to Hersheypark when it was fully open for the summer. Melanie, from our team, has visited Hersheypark for Jersey Family Fun during the summer. I quickly said yes and my husband and I got to work on making our plans.
For my boys, this visit to Hersheypark will be a surprise. They know we are taking them somewhere, but they have no idea where. If you think we should record the moment we tell them live, let us know in the comments below.
Every summer there always seems to be something new at Hersheypark in Hershey, Pennsylvania. This summer promises to be no different. As I prepare for my family’s visit we’re looking forward to checking out these new reasons to visit Hersheypark. After we experience them, we’ll be back on Jersey Family Fun to share those experiences with all of you.
New Reasons to Visit Hersheypark for the Summer of 2017
Reason to Visit Hersheypark #1 – Hershey Triple Tower
The newest Hersheypark ride, Hershey Triple Tower, offers three levels of thrills! I’m not sure if I’m up to the jaw-dropping fun, but I know my guys will be. Will they choose the Hershey’s Tower standing at 189 feet high, the Reese’s Tower at 131 feet high, or the Hershey’s Kisses Tower that stands high at 80 feet high? I’ll be watching from the ground and taking pictures. You can read more about the Hershey Triple Tower on the Hersheypark site.
Reason to Visit Hersheypark #2 – New Dining & Drink Programs
New Hersheypark Dining & Drink programs allow families to save on food and drink while visiting the park. The dining deal allows families to pay once and then eat throughout the day at 14 on property restaurants. With the All-Day Drink Deal, we will get a souvenir cup and unlimited free refills throughout Hersheypark all day! We can bring that souvenir cup back anytime throughout the 2017 season for .99-cent refills. This is going to be a great convenient option for parents. You can learn more here on the Hersheypark site.
Reason to Visit Hersheypark #3 – the BBLz Experience
Where can your favorite beverage turn into a sweet, fizzy concoction? This summer at Hersheypark, BBLz™ offers a brand-new beverage experience to visiting guests. A menu of amazing creations await – all mixed up by friendly Bubble Makers – and include your favorite Hershey candy combined with your favorite fizzy Pepsi beverage. What would that look like? What would it taste like? We don’t know much yet, but we do know it will be sweet AND we will be sharing the results of our flavorful experience with you.
