Middlesex County’s Plays in the Park – Fun, Affordable Kid Friendly Performances

Posted on: May 1st, 2017 by

Are you looking for a fun and inexpensive way to introduce your family to live theater?

Plays in the Park

Plays in the Park is a great way to introduce your child to live theater. Children age 12 and under are able to attend the shows for FREE and adults tickets are inexpensive.

Imagine a night under the stars, (don’t forget your lawn chair or blanket to sit on) enjoying a snack with your kids watching a family friendly play on a large outdoor stage. Sounds perfect right? The Plays in the Park program has been around for over 50 years and some of my fondest childhood memories involved that night under the stars. Shows start at 8:30 pm and the box office opens at 5:30 pm to sell tickets. You can purchase your ticket, set up your chairs, and go explore the grounds of the park or spend the day at the park, pack a picnic dinner and then go see a show. A fun way to spend any summer  evening
