Ocean Gate has one, it opened last summer. It’s not free, but good luck finding any info online. You probably have to call.

  2. Linda Beam says:

I believe the Sprayground at Dorbrook in Colts Neck has been opened. Your site says its closed

  3. Kathy Gerndt says:

The correct address for Michael Lepp Spray Park in Somerville, NJ is 21 Park Avenue.

  4. Bethany says:

For Monmouth County – Thompson Grove Park in Manalapan…. I drove 30 minutes to take my daughter there today, only to find no sprayground (or playground). I was really disappointed, so I searched the link provided and eventually found out the spray park is about 10 minutes away at the Manalapan Recreation Center. I hope you can update this information so other families don’t make the same mistake.

    • Jennifer A. says:

I am sorry you had difficulty finding the location. Our information matches what is listed on the site. -Jenn

      • Bethany says:

Where on the link does it say there is a splash ground at Thompson Grove Park? I drove through the entire thing and I can guarantee you there is no splash park there. The link shows a map of Manalapan Recreation Center, not anywhere near Thompson Grove. I just want to help other mom’s…

        • Jennifer A. says:

If you use our link to the Thompson Grove Park you will find information about the Splash Park towards the bottom of that page. Their page also includes a link for more information about their splash park. – Jenn

  5. Kathleen E. says:

Michael J. Tighe Park Splash Pad now charges $4.00/child 14 & under, $3.00 for adults, and with except for this week, is open only on weekends.

  6. Michelle says:

Why doesn’t Atlantic or Cape may counties have any????

  7. Mark says:

Deptford Township in Gloucester County is adding a spray park in Spring 2015

  8. Nikki says:

Actually, there is a nice sprayground right across from camden high right off kaighn ave that I take my kids to and I don’t live in camden city… It’s very well kept and we have never had a bad experience there!

  9. Alicia maher says:

So not too sure where this fits under Soupy island has free swimming it is in gloucester county right off red bank ave. if you go on Facebook it has the hours. Also you can google it and learn the history of it also 856 845 2430. Tuesday 930 to 330. Wednesday and Thursday 930. To 400. It is in 1718 front st. national park/ west Deptford. Right off of the Delaware river.

  10. Chicki says:

Camden County has 5 spray parks all located in Camden City….but not one in the rest of the county….the only people who will use the ones in Camden City are the people who live there….unfortunate for the rest of the county….

  11. Janelle says:

In union county there is also Mickey Walker Spray Grounds on Anna Street in Elizabeth, NJ . Open 7 days a week 11-7 once school lets out. Right now they are only open on weekends. It is also free.

  12. Jen says:

Is there a better way to print out the list, I hit the print icon on the left and only received up to the shortcuts line under the top pic.

    • Jennifer A. says:

Yes, if you click the icon above the blog post all the way to the right, it gives you a printer-friendly version of the blog post that shows everything. If you still have trouble let me know and I will try to help you more. ~ Jenn

  13. Nancy Politi says:

You have some listed as splash pads and some as spray grounds. What’s the difference/your definition? Couldn’t find it on the page…

    • Jennifer A. says:

We’re looking into if there’s a real difference. It might just be how the location decides to describe itself. ~ Jenn

    • Sharon says:

Spray grounds could mean an entire area with many water spraying decices as opposed to one. I think there is a spray ground in uniin city on bergenline ave that is a whole kiddie spray metropolis.

  14. victoria halfpenny says:

Also be careful many do have residency restrictions and also on certain days daycares use the wading pools at some facilities so call the town recreation centers prior to heading out. Also be aware most of the places in Hudson county you will have to park on the street using metered parking. JJ Braddock Park is good lots of parking but be careful in other hudson county parks.

  15. victoria halfpenny says:

You have to live in Elmwood Park to use it. You should also add the new one in Hackensack located on Pollit Drive.

  16. Diane says:

I love this list! I’ve been looking for places like this and who knew there were so many in Hudson County. Thanks so much!
