3 Reasons my Family Loves Mohawk Park
- I like to think of Mohawk Park as having a secret world. When you approach from Mohawk Drive, you only see the playground structures. Shaded and manageable, in a residential area, you think, “This is a cute park.” But, you cross a bridge and a meadow like park with a river through it and paved paths presents itself!
- The bike paths are smooth and curved, but safe for little ones. They are long enough that my two children didn’t get bored of seeing the sights as they rode (basketball games, fishermen, dogs walking). Riding over the wooden bridges gives them a laugh too. The paths are a bit of a distance from where you park, so bring your water with you!
- The playground is shaded! Perfect for those hot summer days when you just HAVE to get out of the house.
