That being said, they did share this announcement, in 2022, in regards to Halloween on Stockton Street.
Hightstown Borough will once again be closing Stockton Street for Halloween. This is to allow for a safe and enjoyable evening for the community. Road closures will begin at 5:30 pm and last until 9:30 pm. All residents are asked to stop distributing candy at 9:00 pm. Stockton Street will be closed from Church Street to Summit Avenue. In addition, Bank Street and Rogers Avenue will be closed to west bound traffic during this time period. There will also be a temporary NO PARKING ban on Rogers Avenue from Stockton Street to Academy Street, on both sides of Morrison Avenue between 115 Morrison Avenue and Academy, on Summit Street between Stockton Street and Mercer Street, on Academy Street between Rogers Avenue and Mercer Street, and on Church Street. We thank residents for their cooperation and look forward to another memorable Halloween in Hightstown.
