Memorial Park – Essex County, County Parks & Playgrounds
The playground for children ages 5-12 boasts several slides, rock wall, and many climbing options.
If you are looking for a hidden park that only the locals know about then Memorial Park is the one you want to sit and relax during the summer days. Recently renovated it contains two brand new children’s playgrounds adjacent to a tiny brook. It is a cozy playground which translates as it is a small playground. There are no other attractions surrounding this playground as it is the largest feature so make sure if you are spending a good length of time to pack all you may need.
2 Reasons My Family Loves Memorial Park
- This is the locals’ park that is hidden behind one of the Harrison schools in a residential area. It is typically quiet but parking is convenient.
- Recently built playground for younger children (2-5 years old) and older children (5-12 years old). It has modern swings and slides that I haven’t seen at other parks surrounded by a cushioned ground.
There is a rock wall in both children playgrounds.
