This week we are honoring Connor Cella for making a difference in his community. His mom writes
“This summer my son, Connor Cella joined the non-profit organization, Our Children Making Change. All the proceeds went to local charities, seven different ones were picked this summer. The goal for each child was to try to raise $100 in donations and I am really proud to say he raised $300!! He sold pretzels, snacks, water and soda all for one dollar.
Prior to that, last Christmas he came up with the idea all on his own to help other children. So, along with his cousin, Gage, they raised money, a gift card, and received donated supplies from family and friends and then we brought pizza and dessert (courtesy of Gage’s moms, Dana and Hue). All of the things raised were given to The Alcove Center for Grieving Children and Families.”
