Join us in celebrating 75 years of Dr. Seuss!
Welcome to Seuss-A-Palooza! (The brain child of Crystal. (This inserted by Jenn.) ) Over the next 31 days, the Jersey Family Fun writers will be sharing crafts, recipes, and reviews of our favorite Dr. Seuss books and movies including The Lorax. Each day we will be showcasing a series of posts related to the one and only Dr. Seuss, most days we will focus on a particular book. What better way to honor the memory of Dr. Seuss and thank him for inspiring our children, stimulating their imaginations, and showing us the places we can go?
It all started 75 years ago when Theodor Seuss Geisel, a.k.a Dr. Seuss, published his first children’s book And to Think That I Saw it on Mulberry St. In the years to follow Dr. Seuss introduced a love of reading to children by writing and publishing over 60 beloved children’s books including Green Eggs and Ham, The Cat in the Hat, and Horton Hears a Who.
We encourage you to share with us. We would love to hear from you about any activities you have done with your family to celebrate Dr. Seuss. If you would like to write about them as a guest author, please email us at Jenniferauer@jerseyfamilyfun.com.
Below we will share our posts and the posts from other blogs across the Internet, we hope you will come to love Dr. Seuss as much as we have. Please check back often to see what new stories and activities have been added.
