East Passyunk Avenue Business Improvement District is hosting a Spooky Saturday and Fall Festival on Saturday, October 27, 2012.
The Fall Festival & Spooky Saturday activities will be along
East Passyunk Avenue in Philadelphia. Street parking meters are available at $.50 an hour.

There is no charge to attend the festival although some activities may have a charge. Keep reading for more information.

About the Fall Festival & Spooky Saturday
The event is from 11:00am to 4:00pm, on the streets surrounding the Singing Fountain (EPA and Tasker Street).

- Fall Festival celebrates the sights and sounds of autumn with live music by Willie, We Are Fauna and Rooster & Squire.
- Charm City Movement Arts bring the big top fun with circus performances.
- Ms Goody Cupcake will be on hand with deliciously creepy cupcakes that will have children screaming (in delight).
- Nice Things…Handmade presents a craft show featuring local artists.
- Stateside will pour seasonal craft beer and have the kitchen open.
In the event of rain, Spooky Saturday’s costume contest, circus performance and trick or treating will move inside of Urban Jungle. The Fall Festival’s music and craft show will be cancelled.
East Passyunk Avenue Spooky Saturday & Fall Festival Schedule
11:00am – 4:00pm – Fall Festival
Over 40 artists will be on hand for a craft show organized by Nice Things.. Handmade. Future little artists will enjoy children’s drawing and art lessons by Young Rembrants. Ms Goody Cupcake will have spooktacular treats and Halloween-themed cupcakes. Music during the day will include Willie (acoustic family favorites), We Are Fauna (acoustic rock) and Rooster & Squire (bluegrass). Tarot card readings will be provided by Angela Ranalli (Le Virtu’s pastry chef) for $20 a reading.
11:15am – 1:15pm – Circus Comes to Town
Charm City Movement Arts will present tightwire demos and circus performances for kids of all ages.
11:00am - 12:00pm – Temporary Tattoos
Alphabet Academy helps children get into the haunting mood with spooky temporary tattoos outside of the Alphabet Aquarium location (1720 EPA).
11:00am – 1:00pm – Costume Contest
Prizes will be awarded to children and pets for the funniest, scariest and most original costumes. Times for judging are staggered, based on ages: 11:00am Ages 4 and under; 11:30am Ages 5 to 8; 12:00pm Ages 9 to 12; and 12:30pm pets.
11:00am – 1:00pm – Family Fun
Children can safely trick or treat around the Singing Fountain until 1:00pm. Children are invited to make a souvenir of their time on East Passyunk by painting a pumpkin. Cider and snacks will be provided. Pet treats will be available too!
