Being small doesn´t make life easy for little ten-year-old Victor and his friends, who not only have to face a world full of stern grown-ups but also the town bully Freddy Frogface. When a circus comes to the sleepy little town, Victor is thrilled at having the chance to perform in a talent show with his dog Sausage. Yet Freddy soon comes up with a sinister plot of his own to spoil Victor´s plans…
Recently we received a copy of Freddy Frogface. The main character Victor reminded me of a modern-day Dennis the Menace. Victor and his friends were always finding themselves getting into silly situations. Unfortunately, they also find themselves dealing with the town bully, Freddy Frogface who enjoys terrorizing Victor and his friends simply because they are smaller than him and he feels he can get away with it. When the circus comes to town and is accepting performers from the town Victor can’t wait and is looking forward to performing with his dog, Sausage. Will Freddy find out and ruin the performance for Victor or will the performance go off without a hitch?
The boys and I thoroughly enjoyed Freddy Frogface. This movie has fun and entertaining written all over it just by looking at the cover. There is colorful animation, silly characters, and tons of giggles. The movie was great for showing younger kids how to deal with bullies and bullying as well. They learn that you should focus on your talents and treating people with respect. I do have to warn you though there is some mild violence and some adult language in the movie. Freddy Frogface kept the kids attention for the entire length of the film and they are already asking to take it to a friend’s house to share in the Freddy Frogface Fun!
