Places to Visit

My oldest son on his first field trip. He was 3 weeks old, now he's 6. @Jersey Family Fun

I just love love love to load up the van with my kids and explore new places or revisit our favorite old ones. Don’t you? The chance to expose the kids to new ideas, sights, and sounds, gives them an opportunity to have fun and learn in ways that just aren’t available in the four walls or our home or their classroom.

I can’t wait to share with you our field trips. I hope you’ll enjoy our tales and they will inspire you to embark on your own family adventures. If along the way you think there’s a place we need to check out.. just let us know in the comments below. If you are interested in having Jersey Family Fun review your family-friendly location, please contact us at Jerseyfamilyfun@comcast.net

Trying to win some Sesame Place tickets….so….a place I like to take my boys is Bull’s Island, 10 minutes north of Stockton, NJ. There is a footbridge there where you can cross the river to Lumberville, PA and we visit the general store. Back on the Jersey side you can play at the park and walk around and put your feet in the river.

I see you’ve been to a lot of great places. You have to get to the Cape May Point Lighthouse and Cape May-Lewes Ferry!
