Deer Path Park- Hunterdon County Parks & Playgrounds
Deer Path Park is a 104 acres with woods, meadows, and a 3 acre fishing pond. It has lots of different running paths through the woods and new fitness stations. During the summer months free movies and music play under the stars. Deer Path Park is one of our favorite parks. It’s clean, great for all ages, and you can definitely spend a few hours exploring everything it has to offer.
3 Reasons my Family Loves Deer Path Park
- My kids love the two different play areas. One climber is meant for toddlers and the other is for older children. I’m able to watch both playgrounds very easily. Bring bikes and you can ride the trails around the playground.
- We love the hiking trails at this park. The hills can be a little challenging but it’s great exercise for my family. Most of the trails are shaded and well maintained.
- Make sure you bring your fishing poles. The pond is well stocked. My kids also love searching for turtles and snakes.
